I believe in a holistic approach to healing
I am the Co-Founder of Big Bear Yoga and a CAMTC licensed therapist. I started my yoga journey in 1995, teaching yoga classes all around Los Angeles. Since then, I have accumalated over 20,000+ hours of teaching and 1,100+ hours of trainings. My hollistic teachings are mostly influenced by three principles: Asana, Ayurveda, Pranayama. I am a translator of yoga concepts to the curious mind, both young and old. However, I specialize in injury and recovery for ages 45 - 75. I help people release stress, tension, and anxiety that is trapped inside the body. As a movement educator, I am also a life-long learner with interests that span many different disciplines, including human anatomy, physiology, and the dynamics between sensory and neural-muscular processing. Currently, I am working towards completing a 2-year scar tissue remediation therapy program led by Ellen Heed, PhD. I am also a dancer and drummer. I enjoy making medicinal oil-blends, cooking, and listening to podcasts.
